Org. Setting and Reporting
The Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED) internships are for (3) months with the opportunity for extension of up to six (6) months, pending on the needs of the Executive Directorate.
Responsibilities of the internship position encompass all aspects of the Directorates work. These responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Assist in analysing and interpreting international, regional and domestic legal instruments.
Assist in preparing documents needed for setting up arrangements for the organization of workshops and seminars.

- Listens to others, correctly interprets messages from others and responds appropriately
-Asks questions to clarify, and exhibits interest in having two-way communication
Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate degree programme in law (eg LLB, JD, LLM, PhD), international affairs, or political science.
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience for participation in the internship programme. However, applicants are encouraged to list all relevant work experience in their UN professional history profile (PHP).
Fluency in English both oral and written is required. Knowledge of another language is desirable.
